In-House Medical Staff

A division operated by Registered Nurses (RN), Core’s in-house medical staff provides integrated, proactive management of benefits by identifying needs and providing guidance throughout the span of the claim. They are utilized to review the status of medical care and prescription use and to facilitate in communicating with the provider on any questions asked regarding the claim.

Their service is different from a State Board Certified Rehab Nurse in that they do not go with the patient to the office visit and/or maintain contact with the injured worker.  Please note that if a State Board Rehab Nurse is utilized, a separate fee is charged by the Rehab Supplier per claim file.  No fees or commissions will be paid to Core for the utilization of a GA State Certified Rehab Nurse.
